With just days left for the worldwide release of Alpha, Alia Bhatt took a meaningful detour in Pune to honour women whose stories of courage and determination perfectly reflect the spirit of the upcoming action entertainer.

As part of the film's promotions, the actress spent time with two inspiring groups of women who have dedicated themselves to sport and excellence ace shooter Anjali Bhagwat and a group of young female wrestlers dreaming of bringing Olympic glory to India.

Alia's first stop was the training academy of legendary shooter Anjali Bhagwat, one of India's most accomplished sporting icons. Describing the former champion as a true embodiment of an "Alpha", the actress engaged in an insightful conversation about her journey, achievements and the discipline required to reach the pinnacle of success. Alia also stepped onto the shooting range herself, learning the basics of the sport and receiving valuable guidance from the celebrated markswoman.

The celebrations continued at Pune's renowned Jog Maharaj Vyayamshala, where Alia met a determined group of aspiring women wrestlers. Watching them train and participate in practice bouts, she was deeply moved by their dedication and relentless pursuit of excellence. She interacted with the athletes, appreciating their resilience and the sacrifices they make in chasing their Olympic dreams.

Through her Pune visit, Alia paid tribute to the countless women across the country who continue to break barriers, inspire change and redefine strength through their passion and perseverance.

Alpha, the latest chapter in the YRF Spy Universe, arrives in cinemas across the globe this Friday.
