Film Reiew: Sangee Review

ree

Banner: Supreme Motion Pictures, Armoks Films & Yantrana FilmsGenre: Drama

Synopsis:The film revolves around three childhood friends — Baman (Sharib Hashmi), Karan (Sanjay Bishnoi), and Akhil (Shyamraj Patil). When Baman faces financial troubles, his friends refuse to help him. Ironically, Baman ends up helping them instead, which raises questions about friendship, sacrifice, and selfishness.

Review: Thopte Vijaysinh Sarjerao’s story is frivolous and lacks depth. The screenplay is weak except for a few entertaining comic portions, and the drama often feels dull and unconvincing. The climax is hurried, while the dialogues are coarse but enjoyable in parts.

Sharib Hashmi is the heart of the film, delivering an impressive performance. Sanjay Bishnoi and Shyamraj Patil are fair in their roles, with Vidya Malavade lending decent support. The rest of the cast performs adequately.

Direction by Sumit Kulkarni is below average. Music, cinematography, and editing are functional, with nothing exceptional.

Verdict: Despite Sharib Hashmi’s strong performance, Sangee struggles to engage beyond a few comic moments.
