A true incident about which very few people would know, so let us listen today to the story of “Amar Singh Chamkila”.

Such a diamond of Punjab, a young man who may have come from an ordinary family, who made not only Punjab, not only India but the whole world admire him with his singing.

Amar Singh Chamkila was an Indian singer and composer of Punjabi music. Chamkila's vigorous language, loud voice and excellent Tumbi along with his innovative compositions made him famous. His subjects prominently included the objectification of women, alcoholism, sexual violence and domestic violence. He was born on 21 July 1960 and died on 8 March 1988, at that time he was only 28 years old. And his second wife Amarjot was murdered along with two members of his band in a murder that is still unsolved.

Amar Singh Chamkila is regarded as one of the most influential Punjabi artists and live stage performers that Punjab has produced. His music was heavily influenced by the Punjabi village life he was surrounded by growing up.

Now let us talk that this film is based on the life of Amar Singh Chamkila but it is a complete outline of his life.

In the film, Diljit Dosanjh is playing the character of Amar Singh Chamkila and Parineeti Chopra is playing the character of (Amarjot), both of them are the main characters in the film.

While fighting big struggles, Amar Singh Chamkila wanted to move ahead, gain fame and name for himself. This is where the story begins. He adopts a path to spread his skills in the society. He needs the support of a big person. It happens that he meets a famous singer. And somehow or the other they become successful, along with the success they have to face a lot of contempt and negativity from the society.

Because all kinds of people live in a society, in which most of the people liked Amar Singh's songs very much, and used to be regular in all his shows. But on the other hand, there were some people who were not happy with the success of Amar Singh Chamkila. And they are saying that Amar Singh's songs with dirty meanings are having a negative impact on the youth of the society, but it was not so at all. People liked to listen to Chamkila a lot.

This was a dilemma between Amar Singh about whom to listen to and whom not to listen to, influencing both sections of people, one threatening that if you did not stop making and performance to these dirty songs, then he would threaten your life, but the concert I am putting pressure on Amar Singh by playing those songs of Amar Singh's fans, listening to which he has moved ahead. Amar Singh never refused anyone. And he remained like that till the end.

In this film, Amar Singh Chamkila said a very nice line to Amarjot. “जिंदा रहकर मरने से बेहतर है मरकर ज़िंदा रहना

And this is where a turn takes place, then Amar Singh Chamkila is not afraid of anyone and then he decides that he will further enhance his experience, even if it means losing his life. You can read the further story in detail. It is releasing on Netflix OTT on 12th April 2024.

Let us now talk about the aspects of the movie. This film is based on a true incident, this film is a story of the decade of 2000, the film has been directed, produced and written by Imtiaz Ali. In the following categories, Sajid Ali, Pretty Ali is also . The duration of this film is 2 hours 19 mins. The studio production of this film is done by Netflix.

Now let's talk about acting in films.

Amar Singh Chamkila: The acting done by Diljit Dosanj will be the most successful movie of his life and people will always remember him for this acting, while Amarjot Parineeti Chopra has also played her character very well, other actors of the film The cast includes Tushar Dutt; Anjum Batra, Kumud Mishra, and Apinderdeep Singh have a cameo role but they also did their job well. This is what I would like to say about Apinderdeep Singh's acting, although people will see him as Swarna Sivia in the film (as an IT officer) in “Amar Singh Chamkila” which is a funny scene which will bring a smile on your face. But he has done many big films before also, and His acting has been highly appreciated in the recently released films…like Jogi and Swatantra Veer Savarkar.

The music of the film has been given by AR Rahman. The lyrics of the songs have been written by Irshad Kamil. Arijit Singh, Mohit Suri have lent their voices to the songs. After the screening of this film ended, in a Q & A session, Imtiaz Ali had said that you will be surprised again. The winning songs and stage performances of the film have all been done in one place.

The scene is shot It is very important to watch this film. Everyone will be very happy and sad in this film, you will not be bored even for a second. If I say the best thing, it would be less than praising the art director of this film Trupti Chavan, he has done the best art direction.

I will not give any rating to this film because this is not a movie, it is full of emotions , laugh and humor, it is a real story, whose direction, screen play, dialogues have been of excellent quality, this will be Imtiaz Ali's best movie, people will appreciate it a lot.
