FILM REVIEW: Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins

'Jewel Thief' is a new movie that will be available on Netflix today, April 25.

In addition to Saif Ali Khan, Nikita Dutta and Jaideep Ahlawat will play significant parts in this movie. Because so many films have been created on this topic, people's guesses based on the title of the movie are inevitably mixed, but the anticipation for the film is still high.

'Jewel Thief' is focused on the issue of stealing, which is significant to mention but not because there have been a lot of films about this topic and people have enjoyed them. People have enjoyed it, and they are constantly interested in seeing these kinds of movies.

Talking about the Netflix film Jewel Thief, the plot starts with Rajan Alukh, also known as Jaideep Ahlawat, who plays the antagonist. He is a prominent businessman, industrialist, and tycoon who is determined to accomplish anything and does so in a way that allows him to overcome any challenges and keep going. destroying any obstacles through the way.

The second major character of the movie then enters when one of his partners reveals the secret of one of his agreements, forcing him to pay the price of the deal by selling his very precious artwork at auction. As a result, he must find another way to make up the money he lost.

This indicates that Saif Ali Khan is portraying Rehan Roy, who engages in improper behavior but mostly does so because to familial pressure.

And because of this false impression, his mother has died in his family. Gagan Arora, also known as Avi Roy, is his younger brother and is portraying Saif Ali Khan's younger brother.

Additionally, as a doctor, his father Kulbhushan Kharbanda, who is portraying Jayant Roy, fixes patients' ailments and provides the highest level of honesty to society. However, Rehan Roy, also known as Saif Ali Khan, is compelled by circumstances to engage in stealing; as a result, his father expels him from the family and refuses to have any kind of interaction with him.

According to Rehan Roy, money, not integrity, is what matters in this day and age. In contrast, his father, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, believes that honesty is more important than wealth.

The film's plot starts when Rajan Alukh invites Saif Ali Khan, also known as Rehan Roy, to do an impossible assignment. Rajan Alukh knows that the Indian police are after him and that he would never come here, but if familial pressure is used, he will come.

In order to persuade Rehan Roy to steal the valuable "Diamond 💎 Red Sun," the same Rajan Alukh plans to contact Rehan Roy's father and brother in order to bring him back to India.

Rehan Roy accepts Rajan Alukh's request to take it from the wealthy African man who plans to display it on a global tour in order to save the lives of his father and younger brother. And three years later, he arrives in India.

When a new character, STF officer Vikram Patel (Kunal Kapoor), learns that Rehan is returning to India, he makes every effort to apprehend him. Meanwhile, a romantic connection begins. Nikita Dutta, who portrays Farrah, is the love angle girl. She had previously known Rehan Roy and is the girlfriend of Rajan Alukh.

After thereafter, Rehan Roy and Rajan Alukh begin plotting to steal the highly secured diamond "Red Sun." From this point on, the movie progresses, which you can now watch on Netflix.

Script, Direction, Editing, and Screenplay

The plot of the movie isn't particularly new, but the first half of it is more captivating, and the second half makes it clear to viewers what will happen at the end. Sumit Arora wrote the story and the dialogue, which are excellent in many places and enjoyable to listen to. Robbie Grewal and Kookie Gulati B directed the movie, which is excellent, and CG was used extensively. Because the movie was shot on a high-tech scale, it was produced by Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand under the "Marflix Pictures" production banner.

Technical Aspects and Action

Deepak Tyagi, Casey Oneill, Parvez Shaikh, and Manohar Verma created the film's high-end action and special effects.

Manish Sharma, Bence Nasztor, and Alex Anthony Fernandes created the production designs and artwork. it keeps the movie's quality intact.

Acting

Jaideep Ahlawat has shown his acting abilities and is a very amazing performer. Other actors, such as Saif Ali Khan, Nikita Dutta, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Kunal Kapoor, and other co-actors, have also performed their parts admirably.

Sound and Music

There are some songs in the movie, but they aren't very excellent and can't make you happy. The movie has powerful background music that will appeal to all audiences. Composed by Kabir Kathpalia, Anees Ali Sabri, Savera, and the brother-duo team of Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Sanghvi. [Sachin-Jigar] which T-Series is presenting.

Weak Points

Despite the fact that this kind of film has been produced several times, people still like seeing it, including me.

However, there are a few scenes in the movie that will detract from the effort and quality of the work. I won't go into detail about them because I want people to see the movie because it will be available on Netflix OTT, but I will feel compelled to discuss one scene because it is incomprehensible to me that a legitimate Boeing plane carrying passengers could land on a track made of grass and dirt.

It is impossible; it is so absurd and startling that it is unthinkable. I acknowledge that the track is imaginary, but it shouldn't be exhibited so much that it is difficult to understand. It is not flat, crooked, and has a twisted surface. Throughout the whole movie, this last climactic scenario seems incredibly soiled and unbelievable. People will undoubtedly view this movie at least once since it will be available on OTT even if it won't be in theaters.
