Synopsis: Mangla Deshpande (Shivali Parab), a gifted singer, faces a tragic acid attack in her school days. Despite her scars, she rebuilds her life through music, becoming a professor. The film traces her struggles, passion, and resilience.

Review: Saurabh Choudhary’s story is inherently emotional but ends up more depressing than inspiring. The screenplay lacks engaging moments, while the dialogues fail to elevate the drama.

Shivali Parab delivers a heartfelt performance, supported well by Shashank Shende and Alka Kubal as her parents. Other actors perform within their limited scope.

Aparana S. Hosing’s direction is routine and does not provide the narrative with needed impact. Music by Santanu Ghatak appeals only to a niche audience, while the background score and editing remain weak.

Verdict: Mangla had the potential to be moving, but uninspired writing and direction make it a dull affair.
