VETTAIYAN THE HUNTER’ (DUBBED) REVIEW

Subaskaran and Vettaiyan, who comes from Lyca Productions The Hunter is a straightforward narrative that follows the story of a businessman and a principled encounter expert. It is a dubbed version of the Tamil film Vettaiyan.

Officer Athiyan, played by Rajinikanth, is a specialist in encounters in the Kanyakumari police department. In the course of an encounter, he is dispatched to Madras with the mission of eliminating the individual responsible for the death of a teacher. The instructor, Saranya, played by Dushara Vijayan, had informed Athiyan about the underworld don Kumaresan, played by Sabumon Abdusamad, while she was in Kanyakumari. An encounter between Athiyan and Guna (Asal Kolaar) led to Guna's death. Athiyan arrives in Madras. However, Sathyadev, a human rights judge played by Amitabh Bachchan, initiates an investigation on the police who were responsible for the encounter killing of Guna. As Athiyan continues his investigation into the case, he discovers that Hanu Reddy (Supreeth Reddy) had raped and murdered Saranya at the behest of Nataraj (Rana Daggubati), a businessman. Athiyan asks for more time to investigate the case. Who was it that Nataraj had to deal with when he was with Saranya?

Not only is the narrative written by T.J. Gnanavel and B. Kiruthika routine, but it also takes a very long time to get to the beginning. The screenplay written by B. Kiruthika is engaging in the beginning of the film, but after the intermission, it becomes fairly monotonous because it has been stretched out quite a little. A lack of originality in both the subject matter and the screenplay is the most significant disadvantage. Discussions are acceptable.

In the role of Athiyan, the police inspector, Rajinikanth performs for the audience. In the role of Sathyadev, the human rights judge, Amitabh Bachchan is excellent. In the role of Patrick, Fahadh Faasil impresses. Having him around is a great deal of fun. As Nataraj, Rana Daggubati is performing admirably. In the role of Thara, Athiyan's wife, Manju Warrier is not very impressive. In the role of Roopa, the police officer, Ritika Singh is great. As Saranya, Dushara Vijayan provides support that is about average. As with Nazeema, Rohini is about average. As D. Shrinivas, a police officer, Rao Ramesh performs a routine duty that is not particularly noteworthy. The performance that Kishore does as Harish Kumar, a police officer, is satisfactory. In her role as Nataraj's wife, Swetha, Abhirami leaves a fair impression. All of the actors, including Sabumon Abdusamad (in the role of Kumaresan), Supreeth Reddy (in the role of Hanu Reddy), Shaji Chen (in the role of the Madras police commissioner), and Anirudh Ravichander (in a song as himself), perform as they like.

The directing done by T.J. Gnanavel is excellent. Even if Anirudh Ravichander's music is enjoyable, the songs do not have much of an impact on the audience attending Hindi films. These lyrics, written by Raqib Alam, Shuba, and Amogh Balaji, are nothing special. In terms of choreography, Dinesh is average. The background music composed by Anirudh Ravichander is of high quality. The cinematography that S.R. Kathir has done is of a very high quality. Both the action and stunt sequences in Anbariv are really exciting. Both the production designing provided by K. Kathir and the art direction provided by Sakthee Venkatraj M. are satisfactory. The editing done by Philomin Raj is of a satisfactory quality. It is appropriate to dub.

Overall, Vettaiyan The Hunter is not a film that would resonate with the audience that watches Hindi films since it is too repetitive.
